Maa Bhairavi – Sixth of Mahavidyas (Tripura-Bhairavi)

Goddess Maa Bhairavi holds the sixth important position among the ten Hindu Mahavidyas. The Goddess is also called Tripura-Bhairavi, Kala-Bhairavi or Bala Bhairavi. As per Hindu mythology, she is an incarnation of reasoning and learning, blessings and bravery, carrying a kind and compassionate smile on her face.

The Goddess is graphically represented as the wife of Lord Bhairava, known as Shubmkari.
